EUR/USD pourrait accélérer à la hausse - CIBC
Il y a quelques mois, nous avons constaté que les positions courtes nettes détenues sur cinq des principales devises étaient dans la fourchette la plus serrée depuis plusieurs années. Depuis lors, les tendances en matière de positionnement ont divergé, avec des implications potentielles pour nos prévisions sur le Forex. Il est intéressant de noter que les positions courtes en livres sterling ont déjà été réduites, suggérant que nos prévisions sur le GBP/USD qui devrait augmenter à mesure que l’incertitude du Brexit s’estompe pourrait être un peu trop haussières.
A l’inverse, les positions courtes importantes sur l’Euro confortent notre opinion selon laquelle l’Euro pourrait s’apprécier de façon marquée lorsque (ou si pour les pessimistes, les données économiques commencent à s’améliorer).
